To comment on a news item, students should read/view/listen to the linked story related to Latin America and write a short paragraph response (4-5 sentences) to both the article and the original poster’s comments (links to related articles or stories are also welcome). Whenever possible, students should connect the news item with topics discussed in powerpoint lectures/readings (if there are connections).
