In your response you will discuss the advantages of the sociological perspective for understanding the problems outlined by both authors (i.e. crime, deviance and institutional response). In addition respond to the following questions: 1) what is the relationship between race, class, crime and poverty? 2) what role does social interaction and socialization play in deviant behavior?
